Lefkada Island

Lefkada is arguably one of the most stunning Greek islands!

Lefkada island Greece sits in the heart of the Ionian Sea and belongs to the Eptanisa island group,  such as Zakynthos, Kefalonia, and Corfu.

What’s interesting about Lefkada is that, although it is an island, it is accessible by land. There is a bridge that connects Lefkada with the Greek mainland, making the island very easily accessible!

Lefkada beaches, such as Porto Katsiki, Egremni and Kathisma are worldwide famous for their stunning settings!

Apart from wonderful beaches, Lefkada is dotted with many picturesque villages. From quaint seaside resorts, such as Sivota, Nidri and Agios Nikitas, to traditional mountainous villages, such as Poros and Karia, Lefkada has a selection of villages for every taste!

Lefkada also has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing! The main attractions of the island are the Castle of Agia Mavra, the Monastery of Faneromeni and Nidri Waterfalls. As for museums, the Museum of Lefkadian Embroidery, the Museum of Phonographs and Orpheus Folklore Museum are must-visits!
